RUNNING ENTHUSIASTS are encouraged to join the Bidor Half Marathon 2009 organised by Bidor Runners Sports And Recreation Club Perak at Dewan Muhibbah Bidor on 29th April 2009.
The event will start at 7.00 am and is divided in to 13 categories – Men/Women Open 21km (16years and above), Men Veteran 21km (40years and above), Men/Women Open 10km (18 years and above), Men/Women Veteran 10km (50 years and above), Men/Women Junior 10 km (under 18),Team Event, Adults 3km and Children 3km Run . The first three winners in the eight categories will receive a two day/one night trip for two, sponsored by My Gopeng Resort whom is the main sponsor for this running event. “We are expecting more than 1,500 participants from Malaysia, Singapore, and expatriates from Hong Kong, Japan and Britain.” said, club president Leng Ka Nyam.
Entry fee is RM35 for adults and RM20 (students and those aged below 18). Closing date for registration is April 10. Finisher’s medals and certificates are awarded to all finishers within the qualifying time as specified.
Participants an collect their T-shirts, numbers and goodie bags from Tukang Jahit Mexico at Jalan Panggung Wayang, Bidor, from April 18-25.
